Noah's Sad Little Tummy

Well, sometime over the weekend Noah picked up some sort of stomach virus which started with vomiting on Sunday to diarrhea and we have had episodes of both throughout the week. Jenna stayed home with him on Monday with some help from her mom and I got stuck at work late. When I came home Jenna started vomiting and it lasted all through the night. Jenna was out of commission yesterday and I stayed home with both of them. With it being a viral stomach bug there was little we could do about it but let it run its course, so we just kept up with the fluids and fielded the clean-up. Well, this morning we got a call from Jenna's mom that she got it too. So, I was home again today with the sick family. Noah was having a tough time keeping up with all the fluids he was loosing so we decided to get him to the hospital to evaluate the situation. It was good that we did because he was starting to become dehydrated. So, we spent a couple of hours feeding him Pedialyte with a syringe to keep it down and waited for a wet diaper (a good sign he is hydrated). So, needless to say were home now and we're all on the road to recovery. Though I'm hoping I can avoid an episode of my own! We'll keep our fingers crossed and keep us in your prayers!
