Fun Fall Saturday

It was looking pretty ominous this morning (especially given that we all woke up at 6 am with Noah screaming at the thunder), but we ended up having a great day today! We headed to Scott's work picnic mid-morning, and they went all out! They had tons of food, and stuff for kids to do. Noah went for a train ride ('too bumpy' he said)...

on a race cart (Scott also partook in a race with his co-workers, but given his performance, I won't provide pictures of him ;-))...

... and got a 'fire' tattoo, which he picked out himself. A woman stopped him on the playground because she thought his tattoo looked like blood, but he informed her, 'just flames':

After the picnic, we made a quick stop at home, and then headed to the Three Cedars cider mill to meet some friends. We were gearing ourselves up for a meltdown since Noah hadn't had a nap, and he did not disappoint :) The cider mill had a 'corn box'... think sandbox, but full of corn. Noah had a blast, and refused to leave, and loudly expressed his displeasure ;) When I asked him later what his favorite part of the day was, he said 'corn box!' I think we'll be back to visit before the fall is through!

And what about Adam, you ask? Just a regular day of eating, pooping, and napping :)
