2011 in Review!

2011 was another great year for the Wolfe family.  No major events, but just a good year all around.  And, I might add, the first year since 2006 in which I wasn't pregnant at some point during the year :)  Here's what I remember the most:

• Potty training success!  After multiple tries, Noah was potty trained right before he was 3.  Who knows if it was the sticker chart, or the candy (he just recently stopped calling M&Ms 'pee pee prizes' :-/), or the special trips to Toys R Us, but I think it was actually just waiting until he made up his mind that he was done wearing diapers.  Not looking forward to going through this again in a couple of years!

• Scott damages the child.  Ah, I guess this wasn't a good part of the year, but one I'll definitely never forget.  The short story goes, Adam slipped out of Scott's arms, and landed square on the coffee table on the bridge of his nose.  Luckily, Adam healed up just fine and the scar is mostly faded, but it's still good ammunition for teasing Scott ;-)

• The deck is complete!  Poor Scott... another source of teasing!  Summer #3 of working on the deck finally saw its completion.  It turned out awesome, and I'm sure we will enjoy it for years to come.  It even got to share a party with Adam.

• And finally, Noah's OBSESSION with the movie 'Cars'.  We have, or had, in no particular order:  a Cars suitcase, sunglasses, bathing suit, swim shirt, t-shirts, Cheez-Its, yogurt, race track, replica cars from the movie, the movies themselves, story books, puzzles, cups, toothbrush, toothpaste, blanket... I'm going to stop, you get the idea.  OBSESSED.  2010 was trains, 2011 was cars, 2012 will be... planes?
