Look Who's 4!

Scott, Noah, Adam, and I all stayed home today to celebrate Noah's birthday. The birthday boy got to dictate most of the day, so we started with waffles (once he rolled out of bed at 9 :)).

We next took a special trip to pick up his first birthday present... a new bike! He picked out a bright blue one and off we went!



No worries, he was just sitting on it for show, his helmet wasn't out of the box yet. Speaking of which, though, he insisted on wearing the helmet in the car. Apparently he had some concerns about Scott's driving skills! ;)

We next went bowling, a first for both boys. Adam's interest waned quickly, but Noah was into it until about the 8th frame, at which point he spotted the 'try to grab a toy with the claw and you will most likely fail' machine. Luckily, we only planned to bowl one game anyways (if anyone's wondering, I did win. With a score of 100. Professionals we are not).







We next headed to lunch at Coney Island, as he insisted all morning he wanted Mac and Cheese for lunch. He promptly ordered a hot dog. After heading home and putting Adam down for a nap, Scott and Adam got to work on his second present... an all-terrain trike:






We're planning on pizza for dinner, but for now, we have this:
