Bring Your Kid to Work - 2012

This Tuesday was the annual 'Bring Your Child to Work' day at RouteOne. We missed last year because I was on vacation, so Noah was still talking about when he last went in 2010 and ate a yellow Popsicle (?!) He was 2. This is where all my memory cells went to!

In any case, time to make some new memories! You'll notice Adam is not in any of these pictures. That is because tantrum prone Adam + nap time = no fun for anyone, so Adam remained blissfully unaware at Miss Leanne's!

We started off by visiting my desk... the same desk as 2010, in fact:




After some pizza, we went on to do some activities. The theme this year was 'careers', so we first started out in the 'Pilot' room and made paper airplanes:




After a stop to the 'Farmer' room to plant some seeds, we were off to the 'Pastry Chef' room to decorate some cupcakes (which included the best accessories, by far):




And finally, we created a resume:




Before we left, we had some ice cream... we needed something to top that yellow Popsicle memory!




Twix ice cream bar...mmmmm!

Noah is already asking when he can come again. I don't think I've convinced him that work is not like this every day!! :)
