Ending Summer with a Bang!

On the eve of Noah's first day of kindergarten (!!!), I thought it would be a good time to remember just what happened to the rest of summer... we definitely packed things in during August!

First up was the boys' first Tigers game. My money was on Adam breaking first, but it was Noah.

By the top of the third inning (and Adam still happily eating his lunch), Noah was ready for a walk. First stop was the carousel, which Noah was very excited about (Adam was excited one minute, and not the next, so he took a pass). Once it was our turn, Noah sprinted all the way around - he had one thing on his mind that he wanted to ride on. As I caught up to him, I found him happily sitting on... the bench.

After some more walking around, we managed to squeeze in another inning (with the help of ice cream to distract them). Noah did tell me that night he really enjoyed going... all except the parts where we sat in our seats ;)

Next up was 'Bring Your Children to Work' at RouteOne. This is an annual favorite of Noah's, and was Adam's first appearance. I am happy to say no tantrums were thrown, and both were on their best behavior :). As you can see from the below, the theme was magic... Adam couldn't have really cared less, but Noah was showing us tricks for days after!

Finally, was the Bak annual vacation to South Haven. Much fun was had, and ice cream consumed!!
